The Catholic Parish Priest of St Charles Lwanga is encouraging citizens to embark on agriculture to fight the looming hunger in South Sudan.
Rev Oboi Joachim says the hunger in some parts of the country is due to late plantation and inadequate crops, Radio Anisa reports.
He encourages people to grow enough crops for proper feeding.
In another development, the priest also encourages parents to value education to develop South Sudan.
He advises parents to stop drinking alcohol and send their children to school.
