Inmates in Yei prison on Wednesday received soaps for washing their clothes to improve their hygiene.
The donation was given by the committee for the celebration of the women’s day on the 8th March 22, 2017, Radio Easter reports.
Nasera Victoria Augustino, Acting Director General of Gender says the inmates should have love and practice peace.
She also calls for cooperation among them.
Victoria advises the authorities at the prison to distribute the soaps equally.
The event took place at Yei prison.
