Japanese government will support the Comprehensive Agriculture Master Plan approved by the Parliament this month, says Ambassador.
Ambassador Kiya Masahiko told Radio Bakhita on Friday that the document is important because it is a basis for agricultural development in the country.
He says Japan International Cooperation Agency or JICA is working on the document to follow up the plan to be implemented properly.
Ambassador Masahiko calls on the government and the stakeholders to widely utilize the document to realize agricultural development.
He says the Comprehensive Agriculture Master Plan will benefit relevant ministries in the country.
Early this month, the Transitional Legislative Assembly approved the Comprehensive Agriculture Master Plan.
