Systems to Uphold the Creativity and Constitutionality of Elections in South Sudan or SUCCESS, in partnership with South Sudan Law Society, conclude three-day awareness training on NGOs Act 2016.
Wani Michael, SUCCESS Civic Education Program Officer told Radio Good News that the training paves away for civil society organizations to register with Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, Radio Good News reports.
The training will empower the organizations to understand legal requirements for registrations, he adds.
John Malou Ater, one of the participants describes the three-day training as fruitful because its gives more skills and knowledge on NGO Act 2016.
He appeals to citizens to advocate for the proper implementation of the Act.
30 participants from civil society organizations and community-based organizations across Western Lakes State attended the training that concluded on Thursday.
