The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei urges South Sudan politicians to leave out greed for power and wealth in order to develop the country.
 
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe while addressing the national day of prayer at Yei Freedom Square urges the leaders to leave oppression for the sake of their own people, radio Easter reports.
 
He urges the people to unite for peace and improve the relationships.
 
Governor David Lokonga Moses calls for the immediate release of the detained boys arrested in connections with rebel activities.
 
He urges the people of South Sudan to stand strong to resist divisions.
 
Meanwhile Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit Secretary-General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei asks the people to ask for forgiveness.
 
The National prayer took place at Yei Freedom Square on Friday.
