Vice President has criticized individuals opposing the national prayers day announced by President Salva Kiir are against the God.
James Wani Igga while addressing the International Women’s Day celebration in Juba on Wednesday, says the prayers are important because the country is undergoing a difficult moment Radio Bakhita reports.
He adds that prayer is the only solution to restore stability in the country.
Meanwhile, the SPLA Acting Secretary Jemma Nunu Kumba urges women to lead the way for peace during the national prayers day.
The national prayers are expected to take place on Friday at Dr John Garang Mausoleum under the theme: ‘Repentance and forgiveness’.
