Catholic Diocese extends health services to Tombura and Nagero Counties

The Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio has extended health services to Tombura and Nagero Counties, says Director for Development and Peace.
 
Fr John Ngbapia Bakiri says the administration of the diocese has taken health as one of the top priorities, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He says if people are not healthy they will not be able to work and do developmental activities.
 
Fr Bakiri discloses that children and women are dying from minor diseases which could be easily treated because of poor facilities in many parts of the diocese.
 
The Director they are partnering with World Vision to implement health activities in Tombura and Nagero.
 
He reveals that from 2017 to 2020 the Diocese is preparing its strategic plan which will capture all aspects for all parishes to benefit from the developmental activities.
 
Previously, Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese used to deliver health services in Nzara and Yambio Counties and livelihood program was reaching Maridi.
