A High Level delegation of the African Union or AU visited Yei River State to acquaint itself with the situation on the ground.
The delegation headed by Alpha Omar KonareÀã, African Union High Representative to South Sudan met church leaders, government officials, chiefs, youth, elders and women representatives.
He tells Radio Easter that the liberation struggle was not fought to yield the suffering South Sudanese face within and outside their country.
He adds that it will not be possible for the people of South Sudan to develop the country if they cannot dialogue among themselves.
State Governor David Lokonga David says the insecurity that started in 2016 made people to cross to the neighboring countries for refuge.
He discloses that the people of Yei have started the process of the dialogue to end the conflicts in the state.
The High level delegation immediately left Yei after the meeting.
