A community in Marree of Hieban County has opened a school in the area to reduce long distances of students.
Kunda Zachariah John, a Teacher at Saint Augustine Primary School, says they were moved to see kids going far to seek education, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Zachariah adds that the idea to open a community school was thought many years ago.
He appreciates the community of Marree for the idea to build and support their school.
The administrator praises Marree community for hard work and asks God to help them implement their plans.
