Wulu Secondary School student says jealousy and hatred cause conflict in schools.

Elizabeth Amuna Deng tells participants in two-day workshop on grassroots’ dialogue, there is jealousy among the students, Radio Good News reports.

The jealous students are those without scholastic materials, Amuna says.

She says parental negligence to cater for children’s basic needs in schools stirs up conflicts in schools and even at home.

Amuna says many parents marry five to ten wives only to fail in fulfilling their responsibilities.

The workshop tackles civic education on peace building initiatives.

Wulu County Commissioner, John Anai appreciates United Nations Development Programme and its partners for organizing peace and development workshops in the County.
