Episcopal Church Bishop is seeking four boys who had gone missing for nearly a week in Kubi area of Central Equatoria.

Bishop Paul Yugusuk says the missing boys are suspected to be under military detention in a nearby area.

He says he had earlier secured the release of 42 young men from SPLA detention centre in the area.

Bishop Yugusuk says the young men were denied access to food.

The detention of the men follows recent murder of an army officer along Juba-Nimule road.

The bishop believes the arbitrary arrest of boys is a kind of retaliation.

Bishop Yugusuk advises security personnel to follow right procedures to trace for suspected criminals.

The army should go through the local government or chiefs to seize suspected criminals, he suggests.

The bishop intends to follow up the whereabouts of the missing boys.

He was speaking to CRN in an interview on Friday.

CRN could not reach SPLA for comment on the matter.
