The American Embassy in Juba has donated twenty-five recorders to active journalists and stations in Juba for courage.
The journalists are from Eye Radio, Bakhita, Miraya, CRN, South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation and Equator Broadcasting Corporation.
Josephine Achiro, Chairperson of the organizing committee for the World Radio Day says the recorders were donated by the American people to help them gather news.
The committee met and decided to offer the recorders to individual stations and journalists, she adds.
Achiro appreciates the Embassy for recognizing the work of media.
Some of the journalists appreciate America Embassy for the donation.
They express readiness to bring change to South Sudan.
The officials were speaking at the sideline of the World Radio Day in Juba.
