Chinese donate medical supplies to Juba Teaching Hospital

A team of Chinese health workers donated thirty types of medicines, diagnostic equipments and a fully-stocked Ambulance to Juba Teaching Hospital.
 
According to Radio Bakhita, the donation is part of 33 Million US Dollars assistance the Chinese government gave to South Sudan to modernize health sector.
 
Zhang Yi, Economic Councilor at the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan, says their country is committed to help develop efficient health sector.
 
Minister of Health Riek Gai Kok says South Sudan and China have agreed to improve the health through knowledge sharing, training and hospital.
 
The ministry has already received 600 bicycles and communication gadgets from the Chinese government to support health in the Boma Health Initiative, he adds.
 
A team of 15 Chinese health experts are in South Sudan to offer free medical services to citizens.
