Governor calls for support to send out pastoralists from Wau State

The Governor of Tonj State pleads to citizens who have friends and relatives especially pastoralists in Wau State to help him in withdrawing them.
 
Akec Tong Aleu says the existence of pastoralists in Wau is a challenge to his administration, Radio Don Bosco reports.
 
The authorities of Wau may think that Tonj administration does not control its people, he believes.
 
The governor says cattle keepers were last year instructed to stop taking their animals to Wau territory but did not respect the order.
 
He discloses plans to meet his counterpart in Wau, but there is logistical problem hindering it.
 
Last month, it was reported that two pastoralists were killed and two others wounded.
 
The governor made the remarks during the opening session of Tonj Legislative Assembly.
