The Bishop of the Episcopal Church announces submitting a letter to President of the Republic Salva Kiir Mayardit with ten main points affecting civilians in Yei.
Bishop Hillary Luate Adeba says the president accepted the letter and promised to share with some top government officials, Radio Easter reports.
He did not mention the points given to President Kiir.
Bishop Luate quotes the president as telling church leaders, government officials and civilians to talk to their brothers in the bush to come back home for dialogue.
The Anglican prelate adds that the president advised people in Yei to start building peace with armed oppositions.
President Kiir urges armed opposition to take dialogue seriously to lead South Sudanese to peaceful election in 2018, the Bishop concludes.
