Leading Khartoum senator visits Juba

Sudanese Speaker of the Council of States is visiting Juba, South Sudan for three days.
 
Omar Suleiman Adam says Sudanese Council of States senators are happy to respond to the invitation of their South Sudanese counterparts.
 
He says the visit to the young country aims to strengthen the relationship between Juba and Khartoum.
 
Dr Suleiman explains that they discuss problems that face South Sudan and Sudan.
 
South Sudan Council of States’ Speaker, Bol Chan received his counterpart at Juba Airport International.
 
He says he is happy and feels honoured that Dr Suleiman visited the country in response to an invitation.
 
The host speaker wishes the guest happy and safe stay in Juba.
 
The visiting Khartoum senator is expected to meet several government officials including President Salva Kiir and First Vice President Taban Deng Gai.
