Newspapers’ publication in Juba has resumed this Wednesday after two-day inability to print due to fuel shortage.

Association of Media Development in South Sudan, AMDISS Chairperson, Alfred Taban says printing media outlets temporarily shutdown operation due to lack of fuel shortage, Radio Bakhita reports.

He explains that diesel for running generators of the printing press was lacking.

Taban fears continuous fuel shortage may force printing press companies to shut down operations in future.

Meanwhile, other newspaper editors have expressed excitement over the resumption of printing on Wednesday.
