The Democracy International Organization began two-day sitting on project proposal for more than thirty civil society organizations in Rumbek, Western Lakes State.

The training aims to strengthen the organizations network on fundraising and project writing and reporting techniques, Radio Good News reports.

Isaac Majier Majok, CEPO Coordinator, says the workshop will help the teams to learn ideas on project sustainability.

Majier urges the network to use the skills gained during the training in order to strengthen their capacity for smooth running of their organizations.

James Kutiyote, Coordinator for Democracy International Civic Engagement Centres in South Sudan told the participants that they are raising awareness of NGOs.

Democracy international also supports peace agreement in remote regions which lack access to the media, Kutiyote adds.

The two-day training concluded with a meeting between civil society network and Democracy International executives on Thursday.
