Yei County merges schools into four centers due to insecurity

Yei County Deputy Education Director says they joint primary and secondary schools into four centres due to insecurity since third term last year.
 
Martin Woja Balla says they are going to arrange educate centres to join government schools to have many teachers and students, Radio Easter reports.
 
He adds that a lot of schools face challenges of teachers and students due to insecurity and economic crisis.
 
Woja says the purpose of merging schools is to reduce challenges affecting learners in Yei River State.
 
The County Deputy Education Director advises citizens to pray hard so that the security returns to normal.
 
Woja calls for unity and cooperation among parents, learners and teachers in schools to boost education of their children.
 
He encourages parents to send their children to school despite insecurity in the area.
 
Schools in Yei reopen on February six, Woja announces.
