The State Ministry of Finance in Imotong State announces promotion of hundreds of government employees who were no upgraded and get low salaries for many years.
Radio Emmanuel quotes Minister Albino Okany as saying some people have worked for over thirty years without promotion.
He describes it as a way of paralyzing civil servants.
Okany decides that anybody who has worked for more than four years deserves to be promoted.
The Minister hopes the promotion will make them more committed in their work.
Okany says those who have reached retired age will be asked to retire and give chance to young once.
