Young Men Christian Association, YMCA in the Nuba Mountains launches a campaign on democracy and non violence in Heiban County.
The campaign focuses on recognizing all people as humans, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Hassan Adam Ashek, governor’s representative says SPLM-North is working hard to stop violence in the region.
Adam says if peace returns to the Nuba Mountains, the SPLM-North government will discontinue violence against children, women or men.
He has donated 3000 Pounds to three community teams of singers in the county.
Heiban County Commissioner, Mubarak Bolis urges the youth to learn leadership from experienced persons for skilled leadership in future.
He urges the youth to avoid alcoholic drinks and refrain from smoking to be healthy enough to serve the region.
The campaign was launched on Sunday.
