Catechist killed in Kajo-Keji, confirms Parish Priest

Catechist of Mondikolok Chapel of Sacred Heart Parish Lomin of Kajo-Keji is killed during clashes in the area on Sunday, confirms Parish priest.
 
Fr JesuÀòs Aranda tells CRN Tuesday that the Catechist known by one name Lino was killed with five other people in the area.
 
The priest says the Chapel is now deserted because the faithful ran due to insecurity.
 
Fr Aranda calls on all people of South Sudan to pray for his family, people of Mondikolok Chapel and the whole Kajo-Keji area.
 
He describes the catechist as active preacher in the parish of Lomin.
 
The priest urges the warring parties to reconcile for the sake of the people of South Sudan to avoid destroying the country.
 
He advises South Sudanese to be apostles of peace to achieve lasting tranquility in the young country.
 
Kajo-Keji County Commissioner Luka Yombek confirmed that government and SPLA-IO forces clashed at Mondikolok Payam on Sunday.
