A group of sixty heads of Small Christian Communities in the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek on Monday began one-week training on leadership and management.
The training is to boost small groups’ leadership skills in order to give the same knowledge to people, says Sister Teresa Mugesi, Small Christian Community Program Officer, Radio Good News reports.
The leaders came from four parishes and two sub-parishes, she adds.
Diocesan Coordinator Fr John Mathiang Machol urges the participants to make good use of the skills they will acquire during the week long course.
He tasks the leaders to go and serve people in their communities so that the good news of Christ can reach to everyone.
The one-week training brought together leaders of different Small Christian Communities in parishes and chapels of Rumbek Diocese.
