Yei River Council of Ministers approved proposal to buy forty new vehicles for state ministers and county commissioners, spokesperson discloses.
Stephen Ladu Onesimo says money will be borrowed from the national ministry of Finance to be refunded when the state economic situation improved, Radio Easter reports.
Minister Ladu says the cabinet also resolved to auction the old cars to add on the money to be borrowed for buying new cars.
The Minister of Finance will work closely with the directorate of procurement to purchase the vehicles, he adds.
The Minister broke the news after the meeting of council of ministers on Friday.
