There is positive and a good voluntary turn-up of the public to test their HIV/AIDS status, says a medical official at Mother of Mercy Hospital in Nuba Mountains.
Kukani Ibrahim notes that many people continue to visit Voluntary Counseling and Testing Centre to check their status, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
There are over forty HIV patients receiving drugs at the Hospital and the centre is opened throughout the week except Sunday, Ibrahim explains.
He clarifies that many strong patients are not admitted, but take drugs and go back to their homes to continue with normal life.
The official advises people that there are many ways of contracting HIV/AIDS not only by dishonest approaches.
Ibrahim decried some people for rejecting their relatives because they contracted HIV/AIDS.
