The Ministry of Education in Yei River State has on Tuesday conducted its first meeting with teachers to address their grievances.
They also discussed about the school calendar to identify emergency issues that interrupt the smooth running of the academic year, Radio Easter reports.
The cooperation between school administrations and the ministry should be strengthened, says Amos Longa Modi Director-General in the Ministry.
He calls on candidates who are waiting to sit South Sudan school certificate exams to crosscheck and make sure their names are well registered.
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit, Education Coordinator of Yei Catholic Diocese hopes the senior four candidates will finish their exams successfully.
The nursery, primary and secondary school teachers applaud the ministry for organizing the meeting.
