The Governor of Yei River State appeals for good relationships between the state government, security operators and the community.
Minister of Information Stephen Ladu says Governor David Lokonga Moses appreciates the military for continuing to improve the security of civilians, Radio Easter reports.
The governor asks citizens to respect the army, he adds.
The minister says the governor will be going to Juba to make official a document of liabilities and distribution of assets of the defunct Central Equatoria State.
Ladu says the document will be done by the three governors of Yei River, Jubek and Terekeka States.
The minister says the governor went to Juba on permission from the president for Christmas holidays and medical checkup.
Upon his arrival the cabinet members led by the Deputy Governor, Advisors, MPs and security agents went to welcome the governor at the airport.
