Caritas South Sudan is lacking professional staff to implement specific programs like peace and reconciliation, says President.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe adds that due to little salary the trained workforce always goes for other jobs leaving Caritas with untrained ones, Radio Easter reports.
Lack of enough funds is another major obstacle for sustainability because Caritas always send employees for training, but end up going for other jobs due low salary, he adds.
Bishop Lodu also mentions confusion between Caritas programs and those of the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference
He suggests a need for clarification for programs to be implemented without any disorder.
The Catholic prelate calls for the need to build an environment of mutual trust and confidence for Caritas South Sudan and Internationalis to work together.
