Teachers marking the Primary Leaving Certificate exams in Imotong State are demanding an increment of incentives.

They started marking last week where the ministry promised to pay each marker an amount of 750 South Sudanese Pound but the teachers say that amount is little, Radio Emmanuel reports.

Unzi Max Charles the markers’ representative says the fee does not meet the current market situation.

Jacob Atari the Imotong state Minister of Education encouraged the markers to commit themselves and that their incentive complains will be looked at.

The teachers started marking the primary Eight Leaving examinations last week and are expected to complete next week.
