UNHCR equips refugee students with computers and internet in Juba

UN refugee agency or UNHCR in collaboration with Humanitarian Development Consortium is equipping twenty-seven refugee students of St Mary College with computers and internet in Juba.
 
UNHCR in its operation update CRN saw, says the computers will facilitate learners’ coursework and ease access to reading materials online.
 
The computers and internet access will also enhance their academic performance, the agency adds.
 
In another news development UNHCR says it is participating in an Inter-Agency Rapid Assessment in Kajo-Keji.
 
The team met with IDPs, church leaders, county commissioners and visited IDPs locations of Ajio, Kerwa and Logo, it adds.
 
UNHCR reported approximately 30 thousand IDPs in Kajo-Keji and shared the assessment’s findings with respective clusters for humanitarian response.
