The youth of Wanh-alel and Manyang-Ngok Counties in Tonj State held a peace conference on Friday.
Wanh-alel Youth Chairperson David Dhieu Mathok said the aim of the forum was to embrace peace, reconciliation and stability among communities, Radio Don Bosco reported.
Commissioner of Manyang-Ngok County, Barnaba Bol Chinduok appealed to his counterparts to work hand in hand and stop killing one another.
He urged his fellow commissioners to support vulnerable people.
To govern ourselves, let us put God as first priority in our lives to respect each other, Bol told the conference.
The host commissioner Gordon Makuer urged head of organized forces to disarm civilians as they are hampering community peace.
The peace forum brought together communities of Apuk-Juwiir, Thony, Yar and Muok of the former Tonj South County.
