Sudanese refugees relocated to Yei town

Sudanese refugees settled in Nyori refugee camp in Otogo County have been relocated to Yei town due to insecurity.
 
Seventy-three refugees making up eleven families were cut off from the humanitarian services for months, Radio Easter reported.
 
Insecurity in Otogo County forced the refugees’ to Democratic Republic of Congo before entering South Sudan via Morobo County.
 
The refugees upon arrival to the town on Saturday thanked the government for relocating them to Yei.
 
Darjin Kuku, refugee community advisor, urged the government to provide more protection to them.
 
Yei River County Commissioner Denis Lasuba assured the refugees of security and assistance.
 
UN Refugee agency or UNHCR on Sunday started assessing the refugees.
