Faithful House training of tutors concludes in Wau

A four-day training of tutors for Faithful House trainers concluded in Wau town.
 
The training is aimed at HIV prevention, through building a good family, strengthening relationship, marriage and having a strong society, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
Sister Maria Fedibino, a Missionary Sister of the Holy Spirit says the training targets couples because they are role models up bring in children with good moral behavior.
 
She adds that the couples are drawn from all the parishes of Wau Cathedral.
 
Participant, Luka Anthony Ubur, says the course is meant to inform the trainers on how to understand challenges facing families.
 
He adds that it was also to find ways to resolve issues in families.
 
Another participant, Abraham Rohoko Libra, describes the training as beneficial because it made them know steps for good Christian family.
 
The Director of PALICA in Wau Cathedral says the idea came to her mind two years ago in Kampala, Uganda, but now is happy to implement it in Wau, South Sudan.
 
She adds that they started with a small trained group to train others and each couple will go back to train five couples.
 
She believes the programme will be for the good of Wau, society, church and South Sudan as a whole.
