Oil production will soon resume in Upper Nile and Unity regions, says Minister of Petroleum.
Ezekiel Lul Gatkuoth told the press on Friday after he signed exploration production sharing agreement with various petroleum companies after visiting Bentiu.
He says the agreement aims to increase the expenses on the oil products after the pipes were closed three times due to conflicts in the country.
The minister explains that more discoveries and production is needed to cover the technical break during the three shut downs.
Lul added petroleum production will be more than the previous years.
The oil discovery involves various oil companies to increase production.
