Kichama youth in the Diaspora approved the project of youth association in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains to help community, says association treasurer.
Paul Mohammed said the program started two years ago and they gathered the youths of Kichama to launch their project on Wednesday, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Mohammed explained that the association is to get together the youth in Kichama with their people.
He added that the association will respect and work in accordance with the cultural values of communities.
The treasurer cited many challenges in the association, but that they are raising funds amongst themselves before asking for help.
Mohammed urged all communities to work together in order to help the poor and the elderly in the Nuba Mountains.
