Youth in the Catholic Diocese of Wau on Monday made a farewell ceremony for Sister Susan Asiho of Franciscan Missionaries’ Sisters for Africa.
Diocesan youth representative says ceremony was organized to bid farewell to the sister who worked more than two years with them.
The celebration was also to welcome Sr Lonida who is replacing Sister Susan.
Lonida Naishiro expresses her happiness and assures her will to support the youth in their activities.
Sister Suzan whose term of service is over says she came to South Sudan in 2013 and worked in St Comboni Hospital as finance officer.
She used to support youth activities in the diocese.
Sister Suzan urges youth to work for peace in their communities and serve the church.
The celebration was attended by the parishioners of St Mary Catholic Parish.
