The organized forces reportedly killed a robber at Makuei six kilometers from Tonj after exchanging gunfire.
According to Radio Don Bosco a driver who lost 500 SSP and a mobile phone to the armed man accused the robber to the organized forces.
The forces immediately went to the scene and the looter opened fire on the forces, but he got killed.
Police Commissioner John Bak confirms that the dead body was transported the same day to the home town of Malou-Pec County of Gok State.
He says the deceased was in the bush attacking passengers.
Commissioner Bak applauds the forces for the work well done, warning the public to stop carrying guns.
He urges people to report such cases to police.
In another news development, suspected thieves clashed with organized forces last night at Wanalel residential area in Tonj town at 11 PM, according Bak.
Investigations are going on to establish facts on the incident, he concludes.
