Kichama area in the Nuba Mountains has received a special training on water management.
The three-day training for eight participants concluded last week, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Joseph Khalil Banad, one of the participants says the workshop was meant for proper use of water resources.
Khalil says Kichama community is planning to meet through chiefs to design a collective system for managing water in the area.
The participant says after the workshop he toured a number of water points and discovered that a lot is needed to improve sources for clean drinking water.
