Security organs release 14 detainees in Yei

Security organs in Yei River State have released fourteen detained youth suspected of involving in armed opposition activities.
 
Brigade Commander Chol Deng Chol promises to continue releasing anyone arrested, Radio Easter reports.
 
He says sixteen more detainees who are still in custody will be released soon.
 
One of the detainees, Muamba Saidi Juma, thanks the authorities for releasing them, describing it as God’s answer to their prayers.
 
He calls on all South Sudanese to work for peace.
 
State Governor David Lokonga Moses urges armed opposition group to stop violent activities.
 
He says peace has started prevailing in Yei.
 
The Governor stresses the need to embrace dialogue to amicably resolve grievances without causing suffering to civilians.
