The annual youth congress of Catholic Diocese of Rumbek has entered its third day on Thursday.
The assembly aims to bring youth from different parishes together to discuss ways of restoring peace, unity among people through evangelization, Radio Good News reports.
Western Lakes State Speaker Marik Nanga Marik, during his presentation said the roles of youth begin from the family level by being effective family member.
Marik described youth to be the machine that can move the nation to development.
Fr Henry Gidudu encouraged young people to actively participate in national reconciliation process and work hard to eradicate illiteracy among ignorant youth.
