The issue of resource allocation is a biggest problem in South Sudan, says a Member of the National Legislative Assembly representing persons with disabilities.

Scopas Taban Lokabang says he became frustrated and sick when social protection budget was blocked after their long struggle.

He says the budget was supposed to cater for disability, elderly and school feeding program grants among others.

MP Taban was reacting to concerns of the persons with disabilities about issues affecting them.

MP Taban adds that they allocated a budget of about 100 million South Sudanese Pounds to complete Rejaf School for the Blind and the Deaf, but it was removed.

Another four million Pounds budget for the national Commission of War Disabled, Widows and Orphans was also taken out, he regrets.

The budget was intended to help the war victims to repair their walking appliance in the Physical Rehabilitation Centre.

The Rejaf School for Blind and Deaf is located seven miles across the Nile Bridge on Juba-Torit-Nimule road.

It would be the only national centre for educating children with visual and hearing impairments if completed.

The persons with disabilities earlier on call for the completion of the school to help them learn.
