A person with disability on Monday completed nine months training with certificates on welding and carpentry at Rumbek Vocational Training Centre.
Peter Marin Mayen told Radio Good News that he decided to get skills on welding and carpentry in order to be self-reliance.
‘I will not give my people a big burden, I can do what am able because my hands are working and strong’, he says.
Marin urges youth, women and all disabled people who want to work to join vocational centers to learn skills that will help them maintain their lives.
The graduate applauds Diar for Rehabilitation Development Association supported by Save the Children International for helping him to learn more skills.
The Association awarded 140 young men and women certificates in Rumbek, Western Lakes State.
