Yar United Students Association or YUSA appeals for unity among the communities in Tonj State.
Bol Kon, YUSA Chairman, said the meeting at Kakuel Primary School on Sunday was to promote girl child education, Radio Don Bosco reported.
The communities of Tonj State have been in clashes for the first few months and the association is concerned to bring peaceful coexistence.
Kon called on the elders to advised young people to promote peace and discourage them from involvement in conflict.
The chairman encouraged fellow youth to stick to association principles and leave out politics.
The students’ leader made the remarks on Sunday during the meeting that brought together learners, parents and elders in Tonj.
