Yei Catholic Bishop strongly urges the warring parties in the state to lay down their arms and dialogue.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says the people and the church do not understand the reason why fighting is ongoing in the state, Radio Easter reports.
It is useless to kill people without any clear reason, if the cause of the fighting is known then solutions can be easily reached, he adds.
The bishop urges the armed groups to open the roads to void bringing hunger to the people.
He made the appeal on Sunday.
