The agency in its bulletin CRN saw on Thursday, said in Yei, they continue to face restrictions to Lasu refugee settlement area as a result of armed groups’ activities in the area.

It said refugees are facing hunger and malnutrition in the surrounding areas where are in hiding due to the deteriorating security in the area and denial of access.

In Yei, UNHCR and its partners completed distribution of Non-Food Items to 4,328 families of the most vulnerable internally displaced persons.

Some vulnerable IDPs could not access the distribution centers due to the unpredictability of security.

UNHCR said with partners, it will continue to protect and monitor provision of non food items to extremely vulnerable IDPs upon their identification in Yei.
