Many citizens in Rumbek on Thursday welcomed the appointment of eleven county commissioners and four borders advisors of Western Lakes State.
James Dhieu Thon, resident of Makuriric believes that the new leaders will improve the security situation and border relationship, Radio Good News reports.
He calls on the newly appointed leaders to put peace as their top priority and improve service delivery.
Dhieu cautions the officials to work with the people to benefit everybody.
Athei Makuach, from Akuach hopes that the leaders will work closely with the state government to improve education and health sectors.
Another citizen Arop Machut urges leaders to restore peace and build social coexistence among communities.
He asks all commissioners to take full responsibilities of their counties to realize development.
