Augustino Deng made this plea on Thursday during a talk show at Radio Bakhita marking the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence.
 
The youth leader encourages victims of gender-based violence to speak up against abuses.
 
Deng says women should be aware of actions from men that can lead to a violation of their rights.
 
He encourages victims to report abuses to the nearest police station in their communities.
