Some farmers in Makuei residential area of Tonj State lost their crops to the wild fire that erupted in the forest.
The fire burnt to ashes crops of Ajak Deng, Manut Adeng, Kathung Kuot and Yar Ngor, Radio Don Bosco reports
One of the farmers Ajak Deng says she lost everything in the garden and has nothing to eat from now onward.
She regrets that the same fire affected even the neighbor who would help her.
Manut Adeng lost both house and the crops worth thousands South Sudanese Pounds.
Victims of the wild fire urge their fellow farmers to clear the grass around the gardens.
The farmers say the incident is the first of its kind since they started farming.
