Democracy awareness training of trainers is continuing in Kumbur Payam of Hieban County in Nuba Mountains.
It is a series of workshops civil society organizations launched to train people about democratic system in the region, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
Facilitator, John Osman Andena, said the training is engaging top leaders at the Payam.
The workshop also aims at participatory planning that involves the community and the local government, Osman explained.
The facilitator advised the participants to put into practice the skills they learnt for the betterment of the region.
He earlier appreciated Kumbur Payam authorities for providing people to take part in the third session of the workshop.
Osman explained that another aim is to ensure that the least person in the community knows about their rights and democracy.
