FAO empowers women livelihoods in South Sudan

Food and Agriculture Organization, FAO says it is ensuring women and girls have access to resources such as land, seeds, tools and education to gain knowledge and skills for strengthening their livelihoods in South Sudan.
 
Women are on the frontline of the agricultural system, providing major inputs to cultivation, processing and marketing of produce, FAO observes.
 
The agency says addressing inequalities and discrimination that women and girls face will end starvation in the country.

FAO is designing interventions by providing protection and empowerment.
